"My 7th grade child's experience in history class last year was a rough one, as the teacher's style at our private school really didn't connect with my daughter. It was all about memorizing facts and testing, and she would learn the material at home and then freeze when she got to school for the test. I had asked the teacher if there was any way to offer my daughter projects or another type of testing, so that she could demonstrate knowledge of the material, and he said "no, this isn't Kindergarten." That was a turning point for us in deciding to homeschool this year. My child's self-esteem has already been boosted this semester. The Kitchen Sink program was tailored to fit my child's learning style and our unique homeschool needs. My daughter looks forward to logging in and doing her assignments, mainly because her interaction with Melinda is so positive and the feedback is so helpful and energizing. Kitchen Sink allows us to have variety in our curriculum, to compliment textbooks and labs that we have for other classes, and my daughter enjoys the "teen independence" of being able to login and keep track of her own assignments and testing. I feel this is the best preparation to make sure she is a self-propelled learner later on in high school and college. We look forward to trying other curricula from Kitchen Sink in the future. - Shannyn Snyder"

We have three children that are currently enrolled in The Kitchen Sink Learning programs, ranging in ages 4 – 13, in Pre-K, 2nd grade and 7th Grade; and, they love their online classes. Especially my 2nd grader! He gets really excited about learning online because the lessons are fun and interactive. My 7th grader is enrolled in Math & Language Arts and her math scores have improved immensely since we started with Kitchen Sink. I love the program because it helps me to keep my children on schedule, they love the format because it is so well organized and it takes the hassle out of home-schooling more than one child. I don’t know what I would do without this program. Not only is it affordable, but it’s also a user-friendly online class system. “Thank you Mrs. Kinnear for saving my sanity”!

Starting 10th grade this year was a little scary for me because I am not very organized and I knew that there were would be a lot of subjects for me to cover. My Mom enrolled me into the Kitchen Sink Learning programs and this has been the easiest school year yet! Everything is organized for me and I am able to get all of my work done by simply logging in everyday and completing my lessons. Math was a big issue for me, but now I love doing math! I also take the online 10th grade science class, Biology I, and the lessons contain a lot of animations and simulations---it really brings learning science to life for me. I love Mrs. Kinnear's classes!!
